안녕하세요

아이리스님 덕분으로 무탈하게 그랜드써클 도는 중인데 모뉴멘트 벨리 시직드라이브 끝무렵 부터 모래폭풍이 불더니만

어제 모뉴멘트밸리에서 모압으로 오는 도중에 눈폭풍이 요란하더라구요, 

다행스럽게 모압에 도착하니 그쳐서 무사히 델리케이트 아치부터 보고 내려 왔는데요. 

숙소에 도착하니 그때부터 또 비가 내리더니 지금 새벽까지 내리고 있습니다.

걱정이 되어 국립공원 사이트들어가 열어보니... 

겨울기상 경고가 뜨고 도로 사정 조심하라는 애기도 뜨고 .... 오늘 브라이스 캐년으로 이동해야 하는데 걱정입니다..

그렇지 않아도 여행내내 오늘 장기운전 걱정이었는데 날씨까지 안 도와 주네요... 

다행한건 경보가 오늘 6시까지라는 것인데... 마음 한편에서는 가야할 지 말아야 할지 갈등이 입니다.. 

여기까지 왔는데 가긴 가겠지만 걱정 스럽네요... 

출발해도 되겠지요  ㅠ.ㅠ.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM MDT EARLY

THIS MORNING...

* AFFECTED AREA...Central and Southern Utah Mountains.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...Additional accumulation of 1 to 3 inches is

  possible this morning, mainly across eastern portions.

* TIMING...Snow will continue across eastern portions of the area

  into the morning hours before tapering off.

* IMPACTS...Winter driving conditions can be expected across

  higher passes through the central and southern mountains

  including portions of I-70 across central Utah.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means that significant

accumulations of snow are expected or occurring. Driving

conditions may be hazardous. Use caution. Keep a winter storm

survival kit in your vehicle in case of an emergency.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the western two thirds of

Utah and southwest Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Lingering rain and snow showers will gradually end from north to

south overnight. Isolated thunderstorms will exist across portions

of central and northeast Utah through early this evening.

Strong downslope and canyon winds will develop along the northern

and central Wasatch Front this evening, then peak in those areas

late tonight. Easterly gusts in the 50 to 70 mph range north of

Salt Lake City up through the Brigham City area. Areas prone to

strong canyon winds in Davis county could see a few gusts in

excess of 70 mph. In the Salt Lake City area canyons winds could

gust close to 50 mph by late tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Strong easterly downslope and canyon winds will continue along the

central and northern Wasatch Front early Saturday. These winds

will diminish beginning around mid-morning.

High pressure aloft will bring dry conditions and somewhat warmer

temperatures to the outlook area this weekend. The next Pacific

storm system will move into the outlook area on Monday. This

system will bring the potential for additional accumulating snow

to the mountains, and mixed rain and snow for the valleys into

early Tuesday. Warm and dry conditions will return for Wednesday

and Thursday.
