여행일정 및 Q&A 12월 가족여행 (modified grand circle trip)

크리스마스가 끼여있는 12월 22-27일까지 가족 여행을 계획하고 있습니다.

부모님께서 한국에서 20여일 오시는데 무리한 여행은 좋아하지 않으셔서 여기 사이트의 다른 많은 분을의 여행 경로들을 참고하면서

꽤 느슨하게 만들어 본 스케줄입니다.

저나 남편이나 가서 묶을 곳, 저녁 먹을 곳까지 2~3군데 까지 정해 놓고 여행을 계획하는 편이고,

특히 3살 아기, 70대 초반 부모님을 함께 모시고 가는 장거리 여행이라 더 신경이 많이 쓰이네요..

스케줄이 어떤지 한 번 보시고 좋은 의견들 부탁드립니다.....

December Family Trip (Dec 22 ~ Dec 27)

 

Dec. 22_1^st day: San Diego to Sedona  (~ 7hr driving)

-       Depart before 7 am > Arrive in Sedona at ~ 3 pm (+1 in AZ)

-       Chapel of the Holy Cross, Bell rock, and sunset at Airport Mesa

-       Stay at Cozy Cactus Bed and Breakfast, AZ (2 bedroom condo): $300.00 offseason price with take-out breakfast (on Monday night staying only)

-       Dinner at Red Chopstick (~ 3 min walk from hotel): can take-out and eat in Hotel room

 

Dec. 23_2^nd day: Sedona to Grand Canyon (~ 3 hr driving)

-       Wake up early to see sunrise if possible.

-       Depart for Grand Canyon before 9 am

-       Arrive at visitor center at ~ 11:30 am

-       Shuttle tour (Hermit point, Mother point etc.)

-       Stay at Grand Canyon Village hotel (need to book in advance)

 

Dec. 24_3^rd day: Grand Canyon to Page (~ 5 hr 30 min driving)

-       Wake up early to see sunrise if possible.

-       Depart for Page before 9 am

-       Arrive at Horseshoe bend at ~ 3 pm and tour (~ 1 hr)

-       Look sunset at Wahweap Overlook (~15 min driving from bend) ---- can be canceled

-       Stay at Days Inn & Suites Page / Lake Powell (~10 min driving from overlook): $90/room with free breakfast and parking

 

Dec. 25_4^th day: Page to Las Vegas (~ 5 hr driving)

-       Depart for Antelope Canyon tour (10:30 tour) at 9:30 am.

-       Tour upper Antelope canyon (~1 hr 30 min: $46.00/person)

-       Depart for Las Vegas before 2 pm

-       Arrive in Las Vegas at 7 pm.

-       Stay at xxx hotel (need to book in advance)

-       Look out night view: Eiffel tower etc..

 

Dec. 26_5^th day: Las Vegas tour (all day)

-       Take full rest, and have nice breakfast buffet

-       Las Vegas Strip tour

-       Watch KA show

-       Night street tour: 

Bellagio water show, Volcano show  etc..

-       Stay at xxx hotel (need to book in advance)

 

Dec. 27_6^th day: Las Vegas to to San Diego (~ 5 hr driving)

-       Depart for Hoover Dam before 10 am (~ 50 min driving)

-       Hoover Dam tour (~ 2 hour): too long? or can be canceled.

-       Depart for Home before 2 pm

-       Arrive at Home, 8 pm
